Packing
Rugs are rolled (never folded), wrapped in protective film and packed for long-distance transit. Private label orders are packed and labelled as agreed on your quotation.
Shipping and documents
We ship worldwide by air or sea. Shipping method, cost and estimated transit time are stated on your quotation. Every shipment includes a commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin; other documents can be prepared for your market on request.
Duties and taxes
Import duties, VAT and customs charges depend on the destination and the shipping terms agreed, and are stated on the quotation where they apply to you.
Inspection before dispatch
Every order is checked against the approved sample for size, colour and finish before packing. Photos or video of your order are available before dispatch on request.
If something is not right
Please inspect your delivery promptly. If a rug arrives damaged or differs from the approved sample beyond the agreed tolerance, write to sales@handmaderug.in with your order number and photographs, and we will work with you on a repair, replacement or credit. Because rugs are made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind on custom orders; the terms on your quotation apply.
