What is a kilim?
A kilim is a pileless flatweave made with a tapestry weave, where colored weft threads are woven back and forth to form the pattern. The result is a thin, flexible, reversible rug with sharp-edged geometric designs, rooted in the weaving traditions of Anatolia, the Caucasus, and Central and South Asia.
